Today I’ve decided to pick one fragment of one Audiotraining from SIOL course, so you’re about to see a tiny tiny nugget of the vocabulary audiotraining material. Well, I hope you’ll enjoy it. Say It Out Loud, SIOl is soooo much more that that tiny nugget but it can give you a hint of  how we learn vocabulary inside the programe. Enjoy. 

AUDIOTRAINING 4 PHRASAL VERBS ONLY:

  1. Zjedzmy dziś wieczór na mieście, nie chce mi się gotować.
    Let’s eat out tonight; I don’t feel like cooking.      
  2. Zjedz warzywa, jeśli chcesz deser.
    Eat up your vegetables if you want dessert.
  3. W weekendy lubię obżerać się ulubionymi przekąskami.
    At the weekends, I like to pig out on my favorite snacks.
  4. Kolacja jest gotowa; zabierajmy się do jedzenia, zanim wystygnie.
    The dinner is ready; let’s dig in before it gets cold.       
  5. Mogę przygotować na prędce szybkie danie z makaronem na
    kolację.
    I can whip up a quick pasta dish for dinner.    
  6. Staram się ograniczyć cukier, więc przerzuciłam się na czarną
    kawę.
    I’m trying to cut down on sugar, so I switched to black
    coffee.       
  7. Spiesząc się na spotkanie, musiała pochłonąć swój lunch.
    Rushing to a meeting, she had to wolf down her lunch.     
  8. Podczas studiów żywiłem się makaronem błyskawicznym.
    During college, I used to live on instant noodles.
  9. Sprawdź datę ważności; mleko może się wkrótce zepsuć.
    Check the expiration date; the milk might go off soon.     
  10. Wyjmij kurczaka z zamrażarki, aby się rozmroził na jutrzejszy
    obiad.
    Take the chicken out of the freezer to thaw out for
    tomorrow’s dinner.   
  11. Postanowiłam wyeliminować słodycze z mojej diety na miesiąc.
    I decided to cut out sweets from my diet for a month.
  12. Ona ma tendencję do dłubania w jedzeniu, kiedy nie czuje się
    dobrze.
    She tends to pick at her food when she’s not feeling well.      
  13. Czy możesz dolać mi kawy, kiedy wstaniesz?
    Can you top up my coffee while you’re up?
  14. Do przygotowania sosu potrzebujesz zredukować pomidory.
    To make the sauce, you need to boil down the tomatoes.
  15. Przed dodaniem ich do sałatki, posiekaj ogórki.
    Before adding them to the salad, chop up the cucumbers
