Imagine yourself in an informal situation. With your family member, with your friends, colleagues etcetera and picture yourself trying to say that you agree with them. Now, listen to these phrases and repeat them out loud:

What! I’d love it!

I totally agree with you on that one.

You hit the nail on the head!

Spot on! I’m on board with your plan.

That makes sense; I’m in.

You’re right on the money.

No doubt about it, I’m with you.

Count me in – great idea!

Yup, I’m on the same wavelength.

Sounds perfect!

Now, close your eyes again and see yourself ina  formal situation. YOu are talking with someone you don’t know well, maybe the boos or a client, or a prospective client. Maybe it’s a job interview, a conference, networking event, any sort of formal setting in which you want to agree with someone. Listen and repeat:

I agree with your proposal.

I agree entirely.

I share your view completely.

I share your perspective on this matter.

Your suggestion aligns perfectly with my thoughts.

I am in complete agreement with the proposal.

I couldn’t agree more with your analysis.

I’m on the same page.

I fully support the idea you presented.

I am of the same opinion.

Here you have it! 10 informal and 10 formal expressions to use when you want to express your agreement. Catch me on Instagram, let me know you’re a podcast listener.
